Ashley Kalleberg
Ashley Kalleberg joined the University of Iowa Olympic Strength & Conditioning staff in July 2023. Kalleberg is responsible for field hockey, softball, and women’s swim and dive. Prior to joining the Iowa staff, she served as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at University of California, San Diego. During her time at UCSD, she oversaw all areas of athletic performance for softball, fencing, men’s and women’s tennis, and track and field throwers.
Kalleberg earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sport performance from Point Loma Nazarene University. During her time here, she served as a Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach and assisted with men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, women’s volleyball, and women’s golf while also interning with San Diego Loyal Soccer Club as a Sport Performance Coach. Following graduation, she worked at University of California, Santa Barbara as the Sport Performance Assistant and served as the primary coach for cross country, men’s golf, and women’s tennis in addition to providing sport science support to several other teams.
Kalleberg received her undergraduate degree from University of San Francisco in Kinesiology with a minor in Neuroscience. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and CPR/AED & First Aid Certified.
